Date : winter 2002, Publication : TNT.tv English actress Julie Cox has worked extensively around the world, living in Australia, South East Asia, France and London, where she now resides. Her first appearance was in the Oscar® and BAFTA Award-winning short film It's a Wonderful Life, directed by Peter Capaldi and starring Richard E. Grant.
Cox's television credits include Tears Before Bedtime and The Scarlet Pimpernel, both for the BBC, and The Death of Klinghoffer, a John Adams opera for Channel 4. In the United States, her credits include David Copperfield for TNT, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Frank Herbert's Dune. Her film credits include La Vie de Marianne, a French-language film based on the play by Marivaux; Woundings; Felicia's Journey; The War Bride and Alegria, with the Cirque du Soleil and directed by Franco Dragone. Most recently, Cox completed filming Angel for May, alongside Tom Wilkinson. She is currently in Prague shooting Children of Dune, the sequel to SciFi Channel's highly successful miniseries. |
